Luke's Elizabethan Life Meta Project
In contrast with my Dura Europos research which is primarily object based, the Elizabethan side of my work has focused more on written materials because there are just exponentially more to draw upon. Each entry in Luke's journal (journal.lukehistory.com) required many hours of research to write. We are lucky to have extensive collections of correspondence surviving from the time period and sometimes an off reference in a letter can be the basis, after considerable background research, of a post or group of posts.
